Travis Scott Announces New Record Label & “Bird’s Eye View” Tour

Travis Scott seems to be a very busy man as of late. He recently announced that he’ll be embarking on a 32 date tour this summer which will see him perform all over the USA from April till June 2017. The tour seems to be tailored towards promoting Travis’ most recent album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight as well as the follow-up mixtape Days Before Birds, which comprised of songs that didn’t make it on the album. The tour also includes some high profile festivals, most notably Coachella.  Tickets can be purchased website on the artist’s website.

Not long after the announcement of the tour Travis went on to reveal that he’s in the process of launching Cactus Jack Records – a label which will him enable him to “help other artists, launch new names, [and] to provide opportunities.” It’s not known whether the label will be an imprint under Epic Records, the label he’s been signed to since 2012, or another label.

Travis is a multi-talented rapper, producer and songwriter and he has worked with some of the best in the industry so he should have quite a bit of experience that may indeed help other artists. However, not much is known about the label yet so all we can do is to wait and see what comes of it.
